New Arrival

Hello,
I'm Happy to announce Roger and I are grandparents for the 3rd time. Joining our growing family is our 1st grandson Hudson Jack born 11th May 2012 at 2.50pm weighing in at 8lb 7oz. As we are in Vic at the moment cuddles haven't happened but have had photo's sent to us so as we can at least see our beautiful boy and that he is. Now I need to find some boy papers to start doing layouts other than pink cant wait. We are heading home the June long weekend for Sienna's 3rd birthday and of course to meet Hudson and get in alot of cuddles and kisses along with lots of photo's for me to scrap. To top of the trip our 2nd granddaughter and her mum Natasha will be there as well so that means lots of catching up and time spent all together. So look out for a whole lot of layouts on the way will have my head down and creativity working over time.

Take care

Luv Ruth

Our Little Angel

 Hi there Scrapper's
I was sitting in my scrappy room (well my travel one ) the other day and going though some papers and bits I brought with me to Geelong and came across this old Kaiser paper so I decided to sit and spend some time putting a layout together. It took me a little time to get it together as every idea I came up with I didn't have what I wanted with me so it was back to the drawing board. So here it is the end result. The photo is of our first precious granddaughter Sienna taken in 2009.
I did have fun creating this layout in the end.
Happy Scrappin Girls

Cherished Moment

This is a layout I came across which i had forgotten about as it was not put away where it should have been. The photo is of my son Yannick and his daughter Sienna I just fell in love with the shot and wanted to share it with you.

Flower shopping spree

Hi there,
Well I know it's been awhile but have been on the move again we are now in Geelong VIC as Roger is building a couple of tanks here. Before wwe left home i went a little mad on buying flowers from my favourite flower site Wild Orchid so thought i would share with you what i got there is some bling and charms in this order as well.

Getting back on track

Hello fellow scrappers,

Well , firstly sorry for my tardiness I have been very busy travelling with Roger for work and when we did finally come home I ended up working with him doing 14 hour days and have only recently finished working. I now hope to get back into things with a passion as I have missed my Craft room immensely. While I have been home I finally had the time to get Sienna's frame book completed and started on Isla's and also made my Mother a very special 70th Birthday card book from the family, I have uploaded the card and a couple of layouts. Now that I have a little time I hope to get a few layouts done but have just found out we are on the road again, heading to Geelong Victoria for about 6 months as Roger has a job to do there. So here goes again I will have to pack up craft projects to take so as I can keep scrappin. Deciding what to take is a problem as I want to take it all and Roger is not in favour of that idea. I am hoping to teach a couple of classes while we are away and hopefully get to Sydney to catch up with the Fantasia girls and have my Tuesday morning coffee with Enice and if Im lucky I would like to do a couple classes while I am there. So last but not least, please keep popping back as I will endeavour to upload my completed project.

I am also in the process of adding a new tab to my blog called My Scrappy Rooms which will consist of photo's of each room I set up to scrap in while I am travelling with Roger.

So till next time stay safe and keep on scrappin.
Luv to all

A Big Hi There to all. Yeah Yeah i know been very slack with uploads. Well here i am in West Wyalong NSW getting very cold and driving Roger and Yannick nuts with the heater going all day to the point Yannick is running around at night in tank top and shorts Roger's not quite so bad Tracks and tshirt but who cares I'm cold. Well we have settled in and the boys have been at work for two weeks now and in that time i have managed to get my 3 layout kits done for Fantasia's retreat in August. I am also very excited, would you like to know why well to bad if you don't cause I'm going to tell you anyway  I was asked to do a guess spot for 2Craft Chipboard which is now on their Blog dedicated to showcasing 2crafty chipboard and i have join Dusty Attics inspiration centre dustyattic.nig.com and scrapmatts however still trying to get some layouts done but have to wait till i get the chipboard which should not be long i did get a few pieces of scrapmatts just got to think what to do with them and get the ball rolling.
Well that will do for now. I am uploading into the Library if you would like to take a browse of some of my older work and i am trying to find out if i can make albums in blogger so as to make it easier to view.
Take care and keep on scrappin.

Just Adorable

This is the layout from Tuesday night class 24th May at Fantasia. I have used Kaiser Craft English Rose Collection, Green Tara Flowers, acetate, beads, Tim Holtz Tattered  Flowers, bird cage and scroll dies, chipboard gates and birds, bling on photos and bird cage, spellbinders paisley die and leaves printed on vellum. I have wrapped vine ribbon around the gates and added a couple of rose buds and a small clock to finish. The photos I have used are of our grand daughter Sienna and thought they went so well with this paper series.
